Alloytech, the parent company of Metal Suppliers Online, was founded 25 years ago to connect buyers and sellers of metallic raw materials. We curate North America’s largest and most in-depth metal supplier database.

Alloytech’s resource is comprised of 5,345 metal suppliers, a database of 17,000 ferrous and non-ferrous metals and the ability to cross reference thousands of specifications, trade names and arcane metals descriptors. No other metals resource offers the level of accuracy or depth of knowledge that we provide.

We serve metal distributors, global engineering companies, large manufacturers like GE, Honeywell, and Boeing, metal buyers, metal sales teams and engineers. We help to source buy outs, stocked and non-stocked items. Our web-based resource offers online calculators, RFO at your fingertips, and useful metal information – all in a one-stop shopping resource.

Our proprietary technology
Alloytech’s proprietary technology has successfully codified the nomenclature of the industrial metals industry. Using the technology’s easy to use interface, buyers can create a short list of geographically proximate suppliers who match search criteria precisely and are best able to fulfill their needs. Filters including applicable quality programs and size availability can further refine this list.

Our proprietary technology also facilitates the matching of buyers with sellers of metals who have excess inventory. Metal buyers create a profile in our system of the metals they commonly use. Our system automatically notifies them whenever excess inventory that matches their criteria becomes available.
